CONFERENCE VENUE

Travel information

Transport to and from the venue

Landgoed Zonheuvel, is a hotel and conference center located on the National Park “Utrechtse Heuvelrug”, some 15 km Est of Utrecht, the geological and logistical center of the Netherlands.

Schiphol International Airport (AMS) features many international connections and is a 70 km (45 min) drive from the venue. Eindhoven Airport features generally cheaper flights (Transavia, Wizz Air, RyanAir, Vueling) at a 100 km drive (60 minutes).

We recommend participants to fly on Schiphol Airport, as the travel time from there to the venue is considerably shorter. From Schiphol International Airport a direct train leaves every 30 minutes for Station Driebergen/Zeist. See the NS website for more informations. The trainride takes 44 minutes. From the train station a conference shuttlebus will take you directly to the venue (10 minutes). If you register your arrival and departure times we will help you transfer on Schiphol and make sure a shuttlebus awaits your arrival at the train station.

Any participant choosing to arrive at Station Driebergen/Zeist from any other direction will of course also be able to use the shuttle bus.

Alternatively, you can reach Zonheuvel by taxi, but this is expensive (~170€ from Schiphol). Booking in advance doesn’t affect the price.

Utrecht has direct train connections with Frankfurt and Basel and via Amsterdam with Brussel and Berlin.

From any international train, switch at Utrecht Centraal Station to a train going to Driebergen/Zeist station (8 minutes). From there the shuttle bus will transfer you to the venue (10 minutes).

There are convenient connections with Germany and Belgium via numerous routes (A12/A1/A59). The hotel provides ample parking places.
